USI Security Officer, David Winn, was completing a final patrol at the end of a workday and the end of his shift.  He noticed an exterior door to our client Transamerica’s office would not securely close and lock.  USI post order clearly states that for this location all exterior doors must be locked at the close of business.  David followed protocol perfectly by communicating up the chain of command at United Security. He also contacted the Transamerica Security Command Center.  David stayed an additional three hours past the end of his shift to coordinate with building security, and the Transamerica Security Command Center until the door was fixed an was able to lock.  David was recognized with the USI Certificate of Excellence for going “Above and Beyond in his role.”  Congratulations David!
