Christine Gelatt, and Gary Hawkett present Graham Moore with a plaque commemorating his 25 years of employment in our Government Services Division

United Security was founded twenty-seven years ago.  Graham Moore has been an employee for twenty-five years.  What this means is that Graham has been with USI from basically the beginning.

In the early years, USI’s core security services offering was to the Government sector.  USI provided both armed and unarmed security officers to various government contracts in the New Jersey and New York markets.  The USI government business has since grown, and today as a GSA recognized contractor, we service contracts that extend from North Carolina as far north as New Hampshire and west to Pittsburgh, PA.  Christine Gelatt is a founding partner of USI, and its CFO. Over the years she has cultivated our Government business from its infancy twenty-seven years ago into its elevated state today working with multiple Government divisions.

Twenty-five years ago, Graham Moore answered a job placement ad, interviewed for a security officer role, and held his first post for USI – all in one day.  Graham has been at USI ever since that first day.  As the USI government business expanded so did Graham’s roles.  These include site supervisor and security director roles aligned with USI Government business. Today Graham is part of the leadership team focused on USI’s expanding Government business.  Along with Christine Gelatt, and Regional Vice President Gary Hawkett this team manage hundreds of armed security officers across multiple states.

“Graham has been more then an employee over the last twenty-five years, he has been a dedicated ambassador who has cared for USI, and the growth of the Government business.  His tireless efforts, and 24/7 dedication run parallel with the success of the service we provide to the Government for Armed Security officer work.” Noted Christine Gelatt

To commemorate Graham’s twenty-five years of employment he was invited to the USI Managers Meeting in Boston where he was presented with a gift, and a plaque.  Both Gary, and Christine provided colorful stories highlighting his experience at USI and informing the audience they intend for him to stay at USI for an additional twenty-five years.  Graham was kind enough to extend his thanks to all involved, and while he can’t confirm he will remain at USI for another twenty-five years he did share he was excited for what is on the horizon for this team!  Congratulations Graham!
